How does passwordless login work?

Oddie has no passwords. Authentication runs entirely through 6-digit codes sent to your email address.

To log in, enter your email address and verify the code that arrives.

What this means for your security

There is no password to be stolen or leaked. In exchange, your account security depends directly on your email account security.

Two things are worth doing:

Protect your email account with two-step verification
Enable 2FA on your Oddie account from the Security section of your profile

Your recovery codes are the only way back in if you lose access to your email. Store them somewhere other than your email account — saving them in your inbox defeats their purpose entirely.
