Why do I have several badges for the same thing?

Because some badges award a separate instance each time you qualify, rather than one badge that updates.

Leaderboard Top 25 — finishing in the top 25 in March and again in May gives you two badges, one for each month.

Slot Battle milestones — the tiers are 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000 cumulative wins. Reaching a higher tier adds a badge rather than replacing the one below it.

Challenge badges — each carries the number of the challenge it relates to.

Tapping any badge opens a detail pop-up showing what it was for.
